Applications of industrial stretch wrapping

Industrial stretch wrapping technology is widely used in product packaging across various industrial sectors, including papermaking, chemical fiber, refractory materials, carbon, sanitary ware, food, tobacco, pharmaceuticals, export trade, canning, and electromechanical casting. It is particularly suitable for containerizing block-shaped items with a certain degree of rigidity. The corresponding packaging equipment is called wrapping machinery or stretch wrapping machine, with common types including pallet-type stretch wrapping machines, pressure-type stretch wrapping machines, and pre-stretch automatic film wrapping machines. This technology effectively prevents scratches, bumps, and loss of goods during handling by wrapping them into a single unit, while also providing dustproof, moisture-proof, and hygienic protection.

 

In specific applications, this technology helps reduce packaging costs. For example, a medium-sized paper mill with an annual output of 50,000 tons reduced its packaging costs after switching to stretch wrapping; a chemical fiber carpet factory with an annual output of 2,000 tons of carpet yarn significantly reduced its unit packaging costs after switching to stretch wrapping; a sanitary ware manufacturer significantly reduced its unit packaging costs after switching from individual wooden crates to pallet stretch wrapping; a small refractory material manufacturer with an annual output of 10,000 tons reduced its unit packaging costs after switching to stretch wrapping; and a foreign-invested carbon manufacturer reduced its stretch film costs after switching to pallet stretch wrapping.
