Definition and characteristics of industrial packaging tape

Adhesive tape, commonly known as adhesive tape, is a product made by uniformly coating adhesive onto various substrates such as cloth, paper, film, and aluminum foil, forming it into strips and then supplying it in rolls. The adhesive tape industry originated from the preparation of plasters in the pharmaceutical industry. With the development of adhesives, substrates, and coating technologies, adhesive tape has expanded from basic functions such as sealing, connecting, fixing, and protecting to multiple composite functions including conductivity, insulation, high-temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and waterproofing.

Adhesive tape has become deeply integrated into people's daily lives and plays an important role in industrial production. Industrial tape is a general term for adhesive products used in industrial settings, encompassing tapes used in various industrial applications.
